Designer Gareth Moody and restaurateur Maurice Terzini hosted a private dinner at CHRØNICLES ØF NEVER HQ on Wednesday night (29th September) for 30 guests in celebration of the labels forthcoming Autumn Winter 2011 collection, which was on display suspended above guests heads for the first time.

The CHRØNICLES ØF NEVER range continued to develop the warmer approach of its current collection with a colour palette of softer, rusty earth tones. An ever-present darker aspect ran through using various fabrics synonymous with the label; leather, linen and fine cord featured in an amalgamation on individual highlight pieces.

“I see this collection as classic CHRØNICLES ØF NEVER, and yet somewhat more developed and mature. In my opinion it is the most comprehensive to date,” said Gareth of the new offering.

The fleeting restaurant created the perfect setting, existing for just one night and heralding the first in a series that will see the pair team up on similar future temporary projects. On arrival For-Tomorrow and guests were treated to dirty martinis made with ABSOLUT vodka. Adelaide winemakers Eden Road served up an endless selection while Peroni continued the rustic Italian theme.

The menu consisted of succulent racks of veal with a host of trimmings, created by Maurice Terzini along with Sydney catering maestros John and Peter, with dark peppered chocolate rounding off proceedings.
