Trimapee "God's Mistakes" S/S 08/09 @ RAFW

29 April 2008 | No Comment

This season delves into the deep complex nature of beauty and the perception of beauty, whilst exploring the themes of metamorphism, perfection and imperfection. It is here that Trimapee toys with the idea of playing “God” by morphing the beautiful to the ugly and the ugly to the beautiful. Trimapee adopts this Frankenstein approach to design this Spring Summer, as the garment are dissected, cut and paste and re-assembled in an unconventional manner. The collection features beaufitful soft fabrics which hang freely and drape from the body, whilst light-weight cottons, wools and silks maintain structured shapes and tailored forms.
