Pashley Cycles

3 October 2009 | 4 Comments

Trying to find the perfect bike in Melbourne isn’t an easy task, especially during the wettest Spring on record. Cut the crap and get a Pashley!

Touted as Britain’s most exclusive bicycle manufacturer, all cycles products are hand made by old men since 1926.

Pashley are stocked at Bakerlite Trading in Yarraville (Melbourne) or Steel City Cycle Works in Thirroul (Wollongong), take the scenic route from Sydney past ‘Sea Cliff Bridge’ (which cost $52 million to build).

Have you seen the Velorbis range of bicycles? http://velorbis.com/ They epitomise the cool cycling culture of Copenhagen and are retro with a twist. They are available in Australia through Morgans Bicycles – 95 Lawrence Street, Alexandria 2015, +61 2 9519 4666, e-mail bicycles@morganco.com.au The Scrap Deluxe model is particularly funky.

I’m the proud owner of a Pashley Princess Sovereign, I absolutely love it, you couldn’t possibly find a better bike and it is stunning looking to boot! Even the non cycling community love it – you wouldn’t believe the number of positive comments I get from taxi drivers and delivery vans on my commute to and from the City.
