RESTINPEACE – A/W 2009 – ‘Everything Nowhere’

7 March 2009 | 4 Comments

Leading up to Melbourne Fashion Festival, St Kilda(Melbourne) based brand RESTINPEACE (R.I.P) will be among a collection of Independent designers showing on Friday the 20th March. After speaking with Patrick regarding the upcomming event, he also had a chance to tell us about his upcomming collection titled ‘Everything Nowhere’ and a recent collaboration with Doc Martens which can be seen here, dmdesignerteelove.com.

‘Everything Nowhere’ – Fusing humour with intelligence the garments often reward the wearer to look closer and uncover witty references and thought provoking messages. Their influences extend beyond fashion into pop culture, politics and the girl next door as they reflect and reinterpret iconic moments in time. Pieces retain the charm of vintage finds with their comfort and personality resulting in a collection that presents like a romance between Andy Warhol and Marianne Faithful, tough, romantic and relevant.
